Dear Friends;
I'd like you all to know that my surgery was a success and that I was able to leave the hospital after six days, so that I could be at home with my family for Christmas. I must say that today was the most joyous and wonderful Christmas of my entire life, probably because I feel completely reborn through the miracle of this transplant and the love of so many people that has been granted to me over the past few months. It seems to me that through the prayers and healing light that you've sent me, that you yourselves have come closer together, and that's the other part of the miracle. I feel so blessed by your love and prayers, and I'm hoping to recover quickly so that I can continue to contribute to the building of our community of love. I'd like to ask that you send your prayers out also to the family of the donor, whose grief must be very great at this time, and to bless the spirit of the donor as his soul continues its journey. -Phil

Phil went into intensive care Tuesday night with what looked like a critical liver problem. He seems stable now and will be able to go home.

HE'S HOME!!!!! Phil came home yesterday on our 14th anniversary, which was the best anniversary present either of us could imagine. He wants you all to know that he feels as though he has been bathed in the infinite light of love from so many people and that he feels stronger every minute because of it. Please keep the prayers and healing energy coming, it's working!! How blessed we are to have all of you as extended family. Jill, Phil, Grahame and Brian

Phil is home and doing quite well, he has no plans on checking back into the hospital (he can't handle green jello for dinner). We have made a couple of short trips to the book store and he is watching a Giants game with the boys right now. There are a few "experts" to consult with but with all of our love and care he should be fine. I would "update" you on his condition but we don't have all the info yet. I will say that I think he is recovering amazingly well. Please know that he is so touched by all the love expressed here and I know that it is a big part of his healing. We had a couple of Phil & Friends planned which we have put off until January but he hopes to be ready to sing with you at PhilHarmonia. After all of this we will be ready, in December, to sing out joyfully with you, our extended family. Bless you all.... Jill, Phil, Grahame and Brian

Dear friends, the time has come for me to contact you directly. There will be no "official" word from Dennis McNally at this time because we have two young sons, and the media have a way of putting out sensationalized versions of half- truths and rumors. I will be having surgery very soon, most likely within the next couple of weeks. I feel that my family (all of you) should know when it's happening, so Tom Kirschner will post here when I go into surgery and update when I come out. I feel confident that I will be on the mend and booking a benefit very soon but I would like your help. I believe very strongly in the power of prayer and healing energy and I am asking for you continue to put me in your prayers and send me your healing light. I want you to know that I love you all and that you are in my prayers also. (Michael Bauce, post #200, I said a special one for you) I would like to add that the holiday season puts a tremendous strain on the resources of medical centers all over the country, so please remember to give blood if you can. Love Phil

Dear Friends,
As I write this Phil is getting ready for surgery which should take place at approximately 3:30 PM West Coast time. I spoke to him briefly: he sounds great and both he and Jill feel very positive.
Please join his family and friends in a prayer/thought/wish for his well being in the hours and days to come...

Friends:
Phil is out of surgery! The flow of healing powers that surrounded him during the long procedure was surely felt.
Jill wants you all to know that the surgery went very well and thanks you for your love and prayers...
