Fun...
I have been jammin to the Dead for many years, but just
recently started a collection of shows. Jerry's (may he RIP) passing was
a dark cloud for the music world. I am very sad in the fact that I never
was able to attend a show. Taping is the best way for younger Deadheads
like myself to continue the celibration of music known as the Grateful Dead.

In terms of politics I dont believe in any of it. In terms
of the Grateful Dead.....I believe
I'm only 15 and I haven't been to any Dead shows so I can't
fill in any of those questions.
When is Deadbase X going to be released?
I wish I could have had me collection in front of me befor
I began the suvey. I had to tax my feeble brain to come up with favorite
show dates. I hope my reccollection was sound.
Keep up the great work with Deadbase!
dead base IX was one of the greatest gifts i have ever reveived
(nothing beats a miracle!). "never had such a good time!" -r.h.
Excellent survey, however, have someone check the spelling
on the document before posting (elligible,defecit, et al) I guess I'm surprised
for a publisher to put out stuff with typos. Otherwise, looks pretty good!

I have found DeadBase to be a very usful book. It has helped
me alot in looking for specific shows and I enjoy owning it.
Great survey, I wish I had more input as far as good Dead
shows. My collection is just getting sstarted, so I really don't have informed
answers. Great survey!~!

it seems to me the issues people are concerned about should
be more focused towards helping uot those in need in our own country. the
kids going to bed homeless and hungry every night, through no fault of their
own. but instead we'll worry about the russians bullshit nuclear disarmment.
please god help these poor lost souls.

I would be curious to see how others felt about the ivasiveness
of the government specifically law enforcement, and also how people feel
racial issues have improved or gotten worse since the "civil rights
era"
TOO MANY UN-ANSWERABLE QUESTIONS BECAUSE THEY ARE BROAD
AND THE ANSWERS ARE TOO GENERAL. INSTEAD OF ASKING WHAT CANDIDATE ONE SUPPORTS,
HOW ABOUT ASKING ABOUT ALL THE ISSUES AND NONE OF THE CANDIDATES.
I hope that you can keep Deadbase going. I hope GDM, Dick's
Picks and vault releases can keep going. I know this big wheel will slow
down over time, so the time to act is now.

This is a great site! I just found out recently that you
guys were online. I'll be adding a link to your page from mine when I next
update it. Also, a thanks for all your hard work! I bought my first DeadBase
when the 5th version came out and I finally updated to the 9th when it came
out. Thanks for helping me label and keep track of my tapes over the years!

I really like Deadbase. I was wondering if I should send
in the questionaire and found this site. I would really like my name printed
in the next Deadbase as one of the people who contributed to the survey.
