Towards making this site more interactive, we are now soliciting and publishing short essays from our readers.
Feel free to read through the previous comments first, and to respond to them as appropriate. Please, no flaming. Let's try and keep the discourse constructive and intelligent. Also, please do not embed HTML code in your comments. We would rather this did not have to be a moderated forum. You might want to consider writing in your favorite text editor and then later copying and pasting it into the space provided below. (You may need to tab into the field to be able to paste.)
We will randomly select forum contributors to receive free copies of our books. To be eligile for the drawing essays must reasonable both in length (more than 25 words), and in content. Multiple entries which meet those criteria are acceptable as long as they are distinct -- each contribution will improve your odds. Winners will be notified by e-mail. We may also select some of these comments to include in DeadBase X.
We are looking for stories of synchronicity. What is the most outrageous coincidence that has happened to you at a Dead show? This is an opportunity to show off your writing skills, combining a vivid set-up with a punch-line only the Dead could deliver. (Posted 4/21/96)
